ABSTRACT
The seed of Abrus precatorius is used traditionally to treat many diseases and conditions. It is toxic; the ethanolic extract was assessed for toxicity and found to be safe when given in a high dose (200 and 400mg/Kg) acutely in rats weighing 130-170g. Chronic administration of the extract for 30 days orally at a dose of 20mg/Kg and 40 mg/Kg produced no toxic effects and postmortem examination detected no signs of toxicity. Red and white blood cells count, haemoglobin and haematocrit did not vary in the treated groups from the control group. Serum electrolytes (Na and K), creatinine and urea were not affected. Liver enzymes; AST, ALT ALP, serum albumin and proteins were normal in both low and high dose of precatorius extract.

Gore SS,Tarak S. A case report of fertility outcome after abdominal myomectomy in patient of uterine fibroids. J Pharm Biomed Sci. 2014;04(12):1097-1099. Available at www.jpbms.info
ABSTRACT
Uterine fibroids are the most common tumors of the female genital tract. Risk factors include nulliparity, obesity, family history, black race, and hypertension. Fibroids are estimated to be the sole cause of infertility in less than 3% of cases. In women desiring fertility who require treatment of fibroids, myomectomy is the preferred approach. Removal of cavity-distorting intramural and sub mucous myomas is generally recommended prior to proceeding with the infertility treatment. In this case report two intramural fibroids of 59х49х47 mm and 41х30 х 33mm and two small subserosal fibroid were found on ultrasonography which was the cause for infertility. Myomectomy was performed and after 9 months of myomectomy she conceived and delivered a live born boy, 2.75 kg in about 1 year of abdominal myomectomy.

ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to evaluate the anti-ulcerogenic activity of the methanolic extract of Solenostemma argel Hyne to validate its traditional uses in treatment of stomach disturbances. The methanolic extract of Solenostemma argel Hyne herb was screened for its anti-ulcerogenic activity against induced-ulcer in four different models . The phytochemical studies of the plant showed that flavonoids, sterols, alkaloids, Triterpenes, Tannins, Saponins and Cuomarins are the main constituents. of the plant. The results showed that methanolic extract of S. argel Hyne at a dose of 300 mg ∕ kg was markedly decreased the incidence of ulcer that induced by aspirin in rat stomach and reduced ulcer index from 15.18±0.5 that induced by 150 mg/kg aspirin to 11.23±0.4. Also inhibited H+ ion concentration that had been stimulated by administration of histamine (2µg ∕kg) in rat stomach when the plant was given simultaneously at dose 400 µg ∕kg, with histamine and elevate the pH to 2.94±0.98 compared with the pH 2.25±1.09 that induced by administration of 2µg/ml histamine alone. Also S. argel Hyne extract antagonized ulcer induced by HCL/ethanol in mice by 37.9% ulcer inhibition, compared with 50.54% that of sucralfate. The extract reduced water immersion stress induced ulcer in rats by 73.74% ulcer inhibition whereas that of omeprazole was 100%. The results obtained from this study confirmed the antiulcerogenic activity of the methanolic extract of Solenostemma argel Hyne .

Conceptual Maps of the mental health of children and adolescents: A systematic review and meta-cognitive procedures in the architecture information in Northeastern of Brazil. J Pharm Biomed Sci. 2014; 04(12):1112-1127. Available at www.jpbms.info
ABSTRACT
Introduction: The Northeast Region is the third largest region of Brazil, with 49 million inhabitants, almost 30% of the population, being the second most populated region in the country, behind only Southeast. Investments related to mental health in the Northeast are increasing by the Federal Government. Despite huge investments directed to care to affective disorders, significant losses still occur. Our goal was to address the peculiarities of the evolutionary process of mental health in Brazil and in the Northeast, focusing on the juvenile age group. Method: Original analyzes were performed on secondary data from the Hospital Information System (SIH) belonging to the Unified Health System (SUS) in Brazil, Primary Care Information System (SIAB) and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The original data of juvenile mental health were complemented by through the information mapping (Cmap Tools) in the databases: LILACS, SciELO, VHL, MEDLINE. Results: In the Northeast, the precarious socioeconomic conditions contribute to the involvement of children and adolescents with psychopathology. Between 2008 and August 2011, 470 deaths were recorded in mental health in the Northeast. This shows us that not only just create Center for Psychosocial Care-CAPS to improve instantly the health indicators, is still a need for greater training of health professionals who are involved in treating these patients. Conclusions: Some challenges remain in mental health, such as promoting care network, domain and expansion of diagnostic and therapeutic resources, stimulating the social rehabilitation of psychiatric patients, joint approach to mental and socioeconomic status, training of health professionals and interventions in respect to autonomy and the individuality of the bearer of affective disorder.

ABSTRACT:
Background: Cytology is part of histotechnology, being essential to the diagnosis of several human diseases, like tumors, bacterial, viral and parasite diseases. Imprint, Tissue Printing or Cytology Decal is a cytological method of low cost and easy execution, capable of help or even define the diagnostic of a variety of pathologies. Case Report: The authors present an Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma (ATC) case in which the Imprint Method was used as a primary necropsy cytodiagnostic method. Conclusion: Although the cytological imprinting method having its limitations, it has low costs, simple execution and rapid results which enable the Imprint as a good method to diagnostic ATC in the autopsy room.
KEYWORDS: Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma, Autopsy, Cytopathology.
